The little girl

Would become.

I wonder the dreams

You had then

Would they come true

I’d like to think so

As I know

The person

You would become.

Never enough photographs

Memories captured

You taught me that

I realize now

Memories are meant

To be captured

Photographs captured

Life written out

In black and white

And color.

Life teaches you hard

Lessons, but it gives

You something else

Too

Beauty

And strength

Kindness and compassion

Life lessons

Written in

Beauty and

Pain.
