Pandemic Panic: Does It Really Help

We are living in a time of Pandemic panic, but what does panic really do for us? And as Christians should we really panic.

The Co-vid 19 Virus is a new beast, a beast that seems to killing people more by the day, but do we really need to go in panic mode? I don’t feel that we do, because panic does not lead to blessings it leads to pitfalls. Jesus makes it a paint to tell us to fear not but let me make it clear there is a difference between panic and preparation. Staying away from other, washing hands, keeping surfaces, clean, sterilizing surfaces we use the most are not panicking, they are common sense.

Media gives us so many mixed messages, we don’t know where it begins and it ends, but the Co-Vid 19 virus is very real, but honestly do you really need to buy 24 packs of toilet paper, and fifteen cans of Lysol for the possibility of a two week to a month lock down? I really don’t think so, unless you are supplying a hospital, or a care home then by all means carry on.

There’s a general sense of panic even amongst believers, but as I said there is a different between panic and preparation, there’s a difference between burying our heads in the sand, and totally freaking out.
