When it comes to obtaining credit, many of us trust financial institutions to act in good faith, believing that they operate within a framework of fairness. My recent experiences, however, suggest a different narrative, one where predatory lending practices can trap unsuspecting borrowers in a cycle of high-interest rates and undue charges.
