Salvation’s Child

He bore our pain

The burden of our sin

He carried the weight

Of our transgressions

On his shoulders

Heavy wooden

Cross

As guilty

As the Sanhedrin

We were there

Mocking

Him

Ridiculing him

Along with them.

This Savior

Salvations child

Carried our burden

They flogged him

And beat him

The price of our

Sins

Quite literally

Bore on his

Shoulders.

He endured the pain

Paid the ultimate cost

Salvation’s child

Carried that

Burden for us.
