Trigger Warning this deals with The subject Of abuse, if this triggers you please don’t read it…

She was a master at hiding The truth, covering the truth with make up and long sleeve shirts.

He was a deceiver, wrapping the truth in a package of pretty lies. Until she bought into it, walking into a nightmare.

Her face still stung everytime she thought of the feel of his hands across her face.

She never thought this would be the life she would lead, she dreamt of great things one day, writing the Great American Novel, having children, falling in love. What she experienced with him wasn’t love, it was something so much darker.

She never thought her life would become a Martina McBride, sad song. The kind that made you stop and pause and thank God you weren’t the one covered in bruises, only that was her.

She had to leave, before she became another sad statistic!

He would kill her, in a way he already had.
