Silence
Was a priceless
Gift
A time to think
To be
Without noise.
Words quieted
Voices not audible
Come from somewhere
So much deeper
Powerful lessons
Learned
When silence
Speaks.
Silence was a
Priceless gift
The drowning out
Of noise
The quiet
Before the
Storm
The silence
That spoke more
Deeply
Than words ever
Could.
Silence was a gift
Solitude amidst
Noise
Quiet amidst
The screaming
As days move by.
