Some of my closest friends are gone, my best friend died young!

My closest friends are no longer here — a sobering awareness of life’s fragility. Their absence is a constant reminder of how precious time is. Every additional year I am blessed to live is a gift, an opportunity to spend time with family and watch my grandkids grow.
