Sounds like an awesomeness play, I love the pictures...

The play starts with John the disciple as an older man, setting the scene by talking about how his people, the Jews, had been persecuted by the Egyptians and the Assyrians (which corresponds to today’s Iraq and parts of Iran, Kuwait, Syria, and Turkey) and then the Romans.
