And clung to them when you’ve lost everything 
Even when your children were in need
You displayed your strength by remaining hopeful
Smiling faces were a reward
A way to say thank you
That’s how you defined the word happy
During my outdoor walks
When the wind caresses my cheeks and tickles my skin
