Finding Comfort in His Love

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

Chapter Three:

Anna-leiss felt nothing but love when Clarence looked at her. He was always there for her, reminding her how beautiful and strong she was. It should be every woman’s dream to have a man like Clarence as a husband. She had been changed by his love, but more importantly, she had been saved by God’s love. In the aftermath of the crash that took her legs, she might have given up if he hadn’t shared God’s love with her. He was there holding her hand as she faced everything she had lost, and looked into the eyes of what she had gained.

The very thing that should have killed her was her saving grace. She realized that she needed Jesus, and she needed Clarence after the crash. She could not go through life, wandering aimlessly, and despite everything she had been through or maybe because of it she knew she was blessed.

She had scars from the accident, from the surgeries when they had to take her legs that had been so crushed in that crash, over seven years ago, in some ways it seemed like yesterday, but she had learned so much…
