Strength

They tried

To paint

A picture

Of negativity

The things

She could no

Longer do

But she

Refused to

Be painted

In a narrow

Box

Others built

For her.

They tried

To bring her down

With words of negativity

And ableist attitudes

That painted

Pictures of

Negativity

Simply because

She did things

A little differently.

She carried

A strength stronger

Than those with

Working legs

Because she refused

To be made invisible

By their negativity.
