For the one

Who brought us

Into this world

Sown from a Seed

A God given seed

She gave us

Nourishments

Before we

Saw the world.

For the one

Who changed diapers

Nursed us through

Illnesses

We give thanks.

For the

Keeper

Of long ago stories

The dreamer of

Great dreams

We give thanks.

For the one

Who gives us

Strength even

When we are weak

Who nourishes weak

Bodies with love

And Food

The one who

Bandages banged

Up knees

We give thanks.
