*Once again, I'm digging into my old files, at first I was extremely apprehensive about sharing these, because in many cases they are flawed, but then again don't we all have our flaws. Thank you Margie Willis for your encouragement and support!

Much of society tends to belief that our happiness depends on material goods and how much money we make, but true happiness is so much more than being able to afford the newest toys, newest cars, newest homes, it comes from knowing a love that is unconditional, a love that comes from knowing that this connection comes without strings.

We are a society that offers much, and we tend to think that If Only we had enough money for this If Only we had enough money for that, but the truth is money does not always by happiness, and some of the most well known people have become depressed, maybe from the pressure of there fame, or maybe it was something else, but they are not immune just because they have enough money to buy the newest gadgets, the fastest cars, or whatever.

I am not saying that money is always a bad thing, I am saying it is not something we should worship, nor is fame, instead we should worship the Lord, at least we know he is not going anywhere.

I am currently reading a book by Jane Pauley, a well known public figure in the world of news, and who currently has her own talk show…
