The Oak Fire 2022

California is no stranger to wild fires, for years we have been in a horrific drought, and this year has been no different, and often it is the Yosemite area that often gets the brunt of it, living an hour from Yosemite you would think I would get used to it, but you never do, because those flames are dangerous, and there are real lives at risk, and real people have lost everything.

The Oak Fire broke out a few days ago, and exploded in size in no time. I have friends that live only a few miles from the fire, drowing in smoke so sense, but there are thousands of firefighters, sadly not everyone could be saved, unfortunately five lives have been lost. The firefighters have been working hard, risking their lives.
