There Are the Stories We Tell…And the Ones We Don’t

There are the

Stories

We tell

And the

Ones we don’t.

The pain that is

Written in every

Aspect of our being

And the pain we

Hide deep.

There are the

Words

We write

For others to

See

And the words

Hidden

Like pain

And grief

A feeling

Of inferiority.

But we all have

Something to

Give

A beautiful gift.

There are the songs

We sing

Songs of joy

Sung in a perfect

Melody

And the songs

We keep buried

Deep within

Like pain

Written

In a broken

Melody.
