There are the words I say
Words of encouragement
But the ones I can't
The promises I can't make
The pain I can't heal.
There are the
Gifts I can give
A gentle gesture
A kind word
A good deed!
But there are
The things I can't do
And that's make it
All go away.
There is the friendship
I can offer
A gentle hug
A friendly gesture
But there are the
Things I can't do
Make the doctors words
Go away.
