There Comes A Time

There comes a time

We learn to stand up

In words and in deeds,

Not to apologize

For who we are

But to embrace

The person

We have become

Stronger In Christ

Because of the storms

We weathered.

There comes a time

When we realize

The strength

We get comes

From within

And from above

A God given

Gift

We’ve learned

To embrace

Or push away

For fear

Of the way we’re

Going to look.

There comes a time

When you learn

To say

I’ll bow down

To no one

But

Christ

My king.
