There’s A Hope Written in Our Heart

There’s a hope

That holds tighter

Than the lyrics

Of a favorite song.

It’s written

Like footprints

In the sand

A hope that lingers

Carrying us

Through those

Moments

That bring

Us to our knees.

There’s a hope

That lifts us up

Like an Eagle soaring

In the Sky

A gentle hand

That shows us

What it feels

Like to fly.

There’s a hope

Written in our hopes

If we just open it up

And read the words.
