There’s This Friend (Micro Poem)

There’s this friend,

You can count on,

Even when the chips fall,

And the dreams fold,

When memories fade,

And you realize your growing older.

There’s this friend,

Who enters your life, A

nd instantly becomes family,

And even a simple phone conversation,

Can turn sorrowful,

To joyous and happy.
