Person

Can’t make a change

I beg to differ

Look at Helen Keller

Blind and Deaf

Still she saw

The things

Some never do

Like the hope

That is written

Even when everyone

Else tries

To strip it away.

They say one person

Can’t make a difference

They said a girl

Blind and deaf couldn’t

Make a place in this world

Could never find

Sucess

Oh how wrong

They were.

They said

She was broken

A child without a voice

And yet

Even today

Her voice

Echoes throughout

The world.
