They Were Fire and Ice

They loved each other

And at times she

Was cold and Ice.

A fiery passion

A walking icicle.

They fell hard

And fast

And sometimes

Not at all.

She could be

As cold as a fish

A rough exterior

Hiding beneath

A lifetime of pain.

A broken heart

And buried pain

Made her seem

Cold.

But sometimes

Opposite forces

Pull together

For reasons unknown

Call it fate

Or destiny

A chance for true

Love

Her icy exterior

Melted with his

Love.

He was fire

She was ice

Together they were

Love.
