Rain lilts poetry in streams down windowpanes wavering with age — 
their long-lived yield to inevitable melting of never quite solid.
Poetry howls raw, whispers lover’s sighs into our ears when we forget
Who we’re supposed to be and are simply ourselves in our poetic glory.
