Trapped

They become trapped

In a world they don’t

Understand

Hidden behind a

Screen,

Pretending to be

Grown

When they

Are anything but

Fooling no one

Becoming the bait

For so many sickos.

You try and you

Try to keep them safe

From the boogie man outside

The door

But they come in

Through a screen now,

A predator after

It’s prey

Your child.

You take them away

The devices

The games

The online toys

But they find a way

To trap them!
