Try Prayer, It Works
- I wrote this over fifteen years ago, and it was the very faith, the very prayers that would help me get through the loss of my best friend, who died three weeks after I wrote this.
Blaise Pascal said “If man is not made for God, why is he only happy in God? If man is made for God, why is he opposed to God? “ A good question in my opinion , because a truth is brought out in this quote.
God created us as spiritual beings, he created us with a desire to seek out something larger than ourselves, but he also created us with freewill, so we do not always reach out to him. Sometimes we find ourselves trying to get through life without prayer, but the truth is that it is not easy trying to live our lives without Christ, and in the end those who do not serve the Christ will certainly play the price in the end. They will face an eternity separated from God, and the alternative is not pretty.
We have to live our lives in constant communication with our Lord and Savior. We need to reach out to the Savior in constant communication. It is not hard all we have to do is open our hearts to Christ, and start a prayer life.
