Lessons learned from my best friend

1:) Family is a gift, and your friends, your true friends are an extension of that, cherish them, never be afraid to end a conversation with I love you, because tomorrow is not a given but a gift.

2:) Never judge a book by its cover or a person solely on other peoples definitions, we are masterpieces in work.

3:) A situation may be sad, but your life isn’t defined by sadness alone, take a moment to breathe in joy.

4:) Don’t be afraid to laugh often, even at yourself, because laughter heals.

5:) Don’t dwell on the things you can’t change, focus on the ones you can, and show people that just because you have a disability, that doesn’t mean your life has to be limited, live fully and cherish the good days.

6:) Dance the Macareana, if she could do it with no toes, and only a partial left foot, you can too.

Okay to be honest, I find this song a bit cringe worthy, and the dance, well I suck at it, the point is to take the time to dance, even of you aren’t good at it lol!
