Its twists

And turns

She said

Those unexpected

Stumbling blocks

That set you of

Course

But you learn

To steer

The ship

Back in

The direction

You need to

Go.

Paths aren’t

Always easy

She said

Some are narrow

And windy

One misstep

And your story

Has a very

Different ending.

You aren’t always

Going to go

In the direction

You feel like it

should

Some roads

Can set you

Completely off

Course

But you learn

As you go

And go as you

Learn,

Knowing that
Life is

Full of twists

And turns.
