The awe they
Must have felt
As they stood there
Basked in
The glory
Of Christ
In their midst
Upon the Mountain
Christ came
In all his splendor
Having carried
The weight of the world
On his shoulders
Quite literally.
The beginning
And the end
Stood in their midst
The son of man
Overcame death
And gave life
The son of man
Clothed in white
A beacon
For all who were lost
Hope in their midst.
