The Medium Journey
Let me be honest with you, the Medium journey is full of up’s and downs, we are going to face good months, and not so good months, days when we feel like we are gaining traction on this journey and times when we may wonder where we are going wrong. This month for me has been the worst months in the terms of actual reads and it will affect my payout, that being said, I know this is partly my fault. I have found myself busy with life, a pantry remodel, many committee meetings and Children’s ministry has kept me on my toes, and hasn’t left much time for writing. Do I regret being busy, no, but I do have a level of guilt when I find myself to busy to support my fellow writers the way I feel they should be, but I’ve learned to let go of some of the guilt and expectations.
I’d like to remind my fellow Medium writers both new and old that there are times that we will strand up, and times we will fall, the important thing is you get up again, don’t let the slower months, end your dreams, if you feel like you should be here then don’t let a bad month make you give up.
