And the ones

I never did,

The silent words

Cause the most regret.

I told you

Often how

Much I appreciated

You

Saw you as a warrior

Even then

But there are

The things

I did not say

Or the things

I wish

I had said

Differently

Like

I wish I would

Have told you

On the days

You felt it all

Crashing in

The pain you

Experienced

That drove you

To your knees

That it was okay

Not to be

Okay.
