We Have the Power

We have the

Power

As writers

To use our

Words

In a way

That lifts up

And not tares

Down.

We have the

Ability

To create

The dialogues

That need to be

Spoken.

We as writers,

As poets,

As dreamers

And thinkers

Have the ability

To give a voice

To those who

Have been

Silenced.

We as writers

Have the weapons

That are stronger

Than any gun or

Sword.
