Wish for

As you

Blow dandelion

Dust

In the wind?

Is it for

A world of

Peace,

A strong faith

In

Jesus,

Or for your

Greatest dreams

To come true?

What do you

Wish for

As dandelion

Dust

Scatters in the

Breeze

Is it for a

World

Where no child

Has to fear

What

Lurks

In the

Shadows?

What do you

Wish for

I ask

As you

Close your eyes

Tightly

Letting

Dandelion seeds

Scatter

With the wind.

“It’s a secret.”

You smile broadly

“But I made a wish

For you too

And I

Hope

It comes

True.
