What Drives Me
A Deep Dive Into Why I Write
I’ve decided to ask the questions that Subhi Najar posed in the form of this article, so here it is.
- When did you start writing? Is there a specific story?

My first story, entitled The Butterfly Woman, was a kind of utopian fantasy lost to time. Even though the premise was somewhat absurd, it helped me to develop my creative skills. I wrote my first poem a year later, which I will link below:
2. Do you have rituals in writing? If yes, then please share them with us.
In truth, the only ritual I have when writing is listening to a playlist I have created specifically for that purpose.
3. The ugliest monster that writers are afraid of is writer’s block. If you have a recipe to deal with it, kindly share it with us.
