What we see

Isn’t always

What we get

There’s a story

Not told

The inner strength

Not spoken

But lived quietly.

We tend to look

At the things we

Can see at only

A glimpse

Forgetting to look

Deep within

To see the strength

That it takes

To fight the battles

That need to be fought

It takes a strength

That goes without

Words!

What we see

Isn’t always what

We get

Someone’s whole story

Isn’t written in

Glimpses.
