Christianity True Christianity Does Not Condone Abuse

Trigger Warning this speaks of both Domestic abuse and Child Abuse

It’s time for abusers to stop using the name of God as an excuse for abuse, and that should never be the case. Faith does not condone the out right abuse and or neglect of others, and it certainly does not condone a narrative that says a person has the right to control a person’s every move.

I just finished a powerful book, called Unraveled by Jessica Willis Fisher in which she talks openly about the physical, mental and sexual abuse, all in the name of Christianity, the thing is that is not true Christianity. Jesus certainly did not condone that kind of abuse.

Faith does not silence a person, it does not tell them they cannot speak up against injustices in the world, nor does it mean a person isn’t allowed to have an opinion on whatever the subject maybe.
