Celebrities are elevated to such high status that we expect absolute perfection from them, not allowing them a moment of peace. We label them cold or uncaring if they are having a bad day, believing they think they are better than us. Too often, we expect celebrities to be polished to perfection, and when their flaws are revealed, we get angry or disillusioned, or we deny what we see!

When you place celebrities on a pedestal, they are bound to fall, and either we will watch in denial, or we will turn them into vilan. Demonizing them for every mistake made! Granted, there are celebrities who abuse their fame for illegal and often downright disgusting acts, but that isn’t true for everyone.

Fame is not always the glamorous thing society portrays it to be. Often, it can be downright dangerous. Often, celebrities are stalked by both fans and paparazzi, destroying any illusion of safety they might have.

There are times that stars, especially those who suffer from mental health issues can be pushed to the limit, so much so that it ultimately costs them their lives.
