The little girl

Who used to

Laugh so easily,

Now a dark

Brooding teen.

Where are you

The little girl

Who used to

Share her dreams

Now barely a hello.

Where are you

The little girl

Who used to appreciate

Things

Now not even

A thank you.

Where are you

The sweet little

Girl you once were

Now you’ve turned

Into someone

I don’t recognize.

I love you

But I can’t say

I like who

You’ve become.
