Where Have All the Earnings Gone
Something Shifted
As the month goes on, you expect a drop in earnings, but for me it started out slow, and slowly dipped from there. After six and a half years, I’m used to shifts in earnings, changes in the algorithm, and just an overall shift in what works and what doesn’t. Since my writing isn’t for everyone, I have never written about what’s trending unless it happens to be something I feel compelled to write about. I write fiction, poetry, devotionals, and anecdotes about my life. Occasionally, I write about what’s happening here, what I’ve earned, and the people I’ve met.
But I would be untruthful if I said, it wasn’t frustrating. I write from the heart, And yes I get it sometimes its not easy to read the harder topics, but sometimes they do resonate and that matters.
When I pour my heart And soul into something, it hurts when its not read, or worse yet when those who haven’t read what I wrote, decide to comment on it, with irrelevant comments its rather upsetting especially when its on a poem about your best friend loosing her Mom.
