I should have died, when my car wraped around that tree folding like an accordion.

When emergency services got on the scene, they were certain I was dead, but the good Lord had other plans.

I had more to do on this earth, so I was more than happy to be alive, besides only Jesus knew my time, when he’d call me home.

But I would be untruthful if I didn’t admit those weeks after the accident were difficult, as the reality of what my injuries meant became more and more real.

I was paralyzed from the waist down and I didn’t understand what that meant, over six months later and there are things I still don’t understand, but I am in a better place.

Jesus saw me through the worst ofit, And has celebrated each victory with me, And grieved when I grieved, I had no doubt about that.

Some accused me of being in denial, but how does one deny the reality thats right there. I can’t walk.

But I am alive, and despite everything, or maybe because of it, I’m beyond blesded.
