A Deeper Dive Into Who I Am

I’ve been invited to take part in this deep dive by Subhi Najar

In terms of my favorite book, I do not just have one. The Bible, of course, is on that list, along with Heaven Your Real Home by Joni Eacerson Tada and The Lionhearted by Harriet May Savitz. These books have spoken deeply to me and strengthened my faith and awareness on a deep level.

The quote that I love the most is “I am only one, but I am still one, I cannot do everything, but I can still do something, and since I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something I can do.” By Edward Everest Hale. I love this quote because it reminds us to be grateful.

One of my Favorite verses is “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

This verse serves as a beautiful reminder that when we feel the farthest from God, he actually is carrying us through the trials and struggles we face.

Choosing my favorite writer is difficult because there are so many good ones, but Danielle Steels, Palomino, and as a writer, I would add Bird by Bird by Anne Lamont to that list, as well as Life and Spite of Me by Kristen Jane Anderson and Tricia Goyer, this is the story of a suicide…
