Will My Words Make A Difference

As War Rages

The words have been hard to come by, but here goes. In the midst of war, I struggle to write as I observe hatred and yet am reminded of love. Despite this, my heart breaks, but hope still persists!

Israel was not created in order to disappear — Israel will endure and flourish. It is the child of hope and the home of the brave. It can neither be broken by adversity nor demoralized by success. It carries the shield of democracy and it honors the sword of freedom.

As war rages

And innocent lives

Are stolen

Will my words

Make a

Difference.

Hate being

Thrown around

Judgement

Simply because

Someone is

Jewish

Do my words

Matter?

Antisemitism

Rearing

It’s ugly

Head

My heart breaks

Again and again.
