With A Smile You Say More

--

The challenge was to write a poem with the premise of with a smile you say more…

With a smile
You start to say
Something more
Not with words
But with your eyes
Speaking of innocence
Of joy
Of childhood.

With a smile
You spread joy
Words aren’t necessary
Just a silent
Smile
And laughing
Eyes.

With a smile
And laughing eyes
You share joy
Spreading it
Like a fairy
Spreads pixie dust.

With just a smile
You tell a story
Of childhood’s joy
It’s beauty and so
Much more.
