Life without you
Is like looking
Through a cracked
Mirror
Distorted images
Of the what was.

Life without you
Speaks of loss
And pain
But beauty and
Joy too
The memory
Of what was.

Life without you
Reminds me
To take the moments
And cherish them
Life can
Take you by
Surprise
And break
Your heart.

Life without you
Reminds me
That grief
Does not have
A timetable
And friendship
Transcends
Place
And time.

Life without you
Is the broken pain
And the gift
Of life.
