Your life

In an instant

And the words

That bring you

Strength.

There are words

Uttered

In quiet sorrow

Spinal cord injury

A changed tomorrow

Uttered in a tragic

Tone

A fear of

What’s to come.

But there’s

A hope written

Too and then

Spoken.
