You see my smile

The face of victory.

But do you see the

Tears shed

As I struggled my

Way through?

You hear my laughter

The sound of joy

As I reached for the stars

And captured the moon.

You hear my

Fight song

As I sing a tune

But do you

Hear my

Battle cry too?

You read the

Words written

But do you

See the ones

I could not write?

You see my smile

That place of victory.
